Keith and Annabel's TGO challenge 2019

Event date: 10th May 2019

Keith is raising money for The Blackdown Healthy Living And Activity Centre

My story

In May, Keith and Annabel are taking part in the 2019 TGO challenge - an unsupported, backpacking 'stroll' across Scotland, starting on the west coast and finishing on the east. Our route is approx 270 km (168 miles), not to mention a few 1000 m of ascent, and should all be done in 13 days. We have decided to make it a sponsored event with the proceeds going to a local charity that we are involved with - the Blackdown Healthy Living and Activity Centre (link to their website above). As with many small charities, making ends meet is a struggle and we hope to help them with sponsorship of this walk. It's a great local charity helping people across the age range, from babies to grannies! It also provides a great community resource for local events and meetings. If you could make a small (or large!) donation we would be very grateful and it will help drive us on to finish when we're feeling wet, tired and fed-up on a typically damp Scottish day in the hills! Thank you so much from us both and on behalf of the BHLAC. :)
