Keith, Elizabeth & Ora Melbourne are raising money for Cancer Research UK
Our story
This year 26 riders are cycling from from Rome-Milan-London, 1529 miles via the alps and the famous Stelvio pass. Hence the Inspired Living team have named this ride 'The Italian Job'. I'll be riding and Liz is coming along as a volunteer to help the support staff and Ora will be the unofficial 'Therapy Dog'.
Our aim is not to rob any banks but to raise money via donations for Cancer Research UK. Please sponsor us for 1, 2, or 3p per mile (or more if you could) which would mean a donation of £ 15.29, 30.58 or 45.87.
I know for some of you with cancer it's personal - you, a relative or friend will have fought their own battle with 'The Big C' and may want to give more which of course will be gratefully received. However, even the smallest donation is very motivational for us as riders and support staff since we know you're 'with us' on this journey. It's helps us to keep going when things start to get tough and things don't get much tougher than for those who are fighting cancer.
