Ken Morrison is raising money for Cricket Without Boundaries
I have just returned from a two week adventure to Uganda with a charity called Cricket Without Boundaries and the main aim of the visit was to introduce cricket to young people. The trip was an amazing experience and at times overwhelming as we visited over 30 schools and over 5,000 children.
CWB believes that cricket is for everyone, anywhere and can bring together people and communities not just for millions of moments of joy but also builds a new generation of players, coaches and role models. More information on CWB can be found on their website at cricketwithoutboundaries.com.
Everywhere we went we were greeted with unbounded enthusiasm, energy and excitement, as the youngsters had their first introduction to the game in a fun, safe and inclusive way. The joy on their faces was uncontained and each of the sessions were so enjoyable to be a part of. More detail on our daily activities can be found on our blog at cwbblogs.com/uganda26.
If you would like a similar experience, CWB visits multiple countries each Autumn and Spring and further details on how to apply can be found on the CWB website. Prior experience of coaching is not required to participate in these trips.
As a charity, CWB is only able to operate with donations so if you are able to donate please do so.
Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Cricket Without Boundaries.
