Kite Challenge

We’re AirBlaze, a local team of aerospace grads involved in the APM Challenge, delivering a project for Ablaze in Bristol.

Ablaze is a local independent charity devoted to raising the prospects of primary and secondary school students in the southwest. You might know them from initiatives with local companies such as Number Partners and Reading Buddies.

We would love to invite you to join the Build a Kite Challenge on 25th of February*, a fundraising event!

The idea is to promote sustainability by building an aerospace-themed kite out of purely recyclable materials! Of course, it has to fly, so we will be holding a competition for the best kite on the 25th where each entry will be scored on various categories.

Prizes will be awarded to the teams with best kite in each of the following category:

• Most funds raised **
• Longest flying kite
• Most innovative kite
• Most recyclable kite

* We are sorry if you cannot join the event on this date. However, you are more than welcome to donate!
** Anyone can donate any amount of money. For this donation to be accounted to your team, they need to write your or the team's name in the notes of the donations.
