Le Marathon de Paris 2013

On Sunday, Anna and I are running the Paris marathon to raise funds for a charity called Otley Action for Older People. Based in my hometown, it's a small charity that prevents elderly people from becoming isolated by keeping them involved in the community.

My grandma volunteered for and participated in the charity until her early nineties when she passed on the baton. Now it's run by a small number of staff and volunteers who work hard to ensure they get the most out of the limited funds they have. They're mainly war-hardened old dears from Yorkshire so achieve this with a great deal of finesse
