My story
Dr Linda's Summer Trek Challenge for Northumbria Blood Bikes - 23 August 2025
On Saturday 23 August 2025, Spectrum’s Chief Executive Dr Linda Harris OBE will be undertaking her annual fundraiser in the Northeast.
Her summer challenge will be a fundraising trek for Spectrum’s chosen charity of the year, Northumbria Blood Bikes. Northumbria Blood Bikes is a registered charity established by local volunteers to deliver essential blood and urgent medical supplies, out of hours, between hospitals and other healthcare sites in North East England.
The 12-mile circular walk will take in great views across the countryside passing alongside the ancient Hadrian's wall and the iconic Sycamore Gap.
