Little Louis climbs Snowdon for Little Troopers

This September I will be climbing Snowdon to raise funds for Little Troopers.

Little Troopers is a charity that supports all military children. The charity helps us to feel seen and heard, it also connect us to other military children as some of us don't live in military areas. It's a constant and offers support in a system where our lives, loved ones and place is directed by the military.

My daddy serves in the Royal Navy and if I'm lucky we get to see him at weekends. Often during long deployments we can go months without seeing or speaking to each other. This is hard! It's lonely but Little Troopers help by running activities and providing resources which help my friends at school try to understand what I'm going through.

Every deployment is different as is everyone's military experience. This last year was very hard for me and my family as we lost a lot of loved ones and our support network. We moved home, area, school, my mummy was in a bad accident and my daddy was being deployed. We work and support each other to survive and together thanks to our military family we conquer what life throws at us.

I look forward to doing this climb with my daddy, to raise money for a great cause and to make some magical memories together.
