London Landmarks Half Marathon 2026 for Brooke and The Worshipful Company Of Farriers Charitable Trust

As an apprentice of the Worshipful Company of Farriers and granddaughter to past Master, Paul Jepson and liveryman, Mo Jepson I have had close ties with the Company and am fortunate to be able to have the opportunity to fundraise for two charities that champion equine welfare and the communities that are involved with these animals.

Below is some information about these brilliant charities and their important work:

Brooke believes in a world where working horses, donkeys and mules are free from suffering and have a life worth living. There are 100 million equines working around the world, supporting the livelihoods of 600 million people. Many of these animals face harsh conditions, including exhaustion, malnutrition and disease. Brooke works with communities, animal health providers and local authorities to create lasting change for working equines and the people who depend on them. The objects of the Worshipful Company of Farriers Trust are:
- The training and education of Farriers and prospective Farriers in the skill and performance of their craft or profession and the promotion of proficiency among Farriers.
- The relief of poverty, hardship, sickness and suffering among Farriers and their spouses, widows or widowers, issue of such persons and those who in the opinion of the trustee are dependants of Farriers or prospective Farriers or of deceased Farriers.
