London Marathon 2026

Twenty years after injury stopped me running the London Marathon, I’m finally getting another chance — although with only 10 weeks to train!

I was lucky enough to get a ballot place back then, but had to pull out during training and never made it to the starting line. So when a runner from Links International had to withdraw this year, I jumped at the chance to take their place — even if the training window is a little… ambitious.

I’m particularly proud to be running for Links. My brother, Joe Gisbey, is the CEO and I’m one of the trustees, so it’s a charity that’s very close to my heart.

Links works with partners around the world to connect people, confront poverty and create potential, supporting communities to create long-term, sustainable change.

Running 26.2 miles on a rushed training schedule with a family and busy job will definitely be a challenge, but it’s a brilliant opportunity to support a cause I care deeply about.
