My story
This is my first London Marathon after wanting to run it for years. I got a place in the ballot 20 years ago but got injured in training and had to pull out. So it’s slightly crazy to be doing it now with only 10 weeks to train! But when one of Links’ runners dropped out, I agreed to take their place.
Links is a great charity, and one close to my heart. My brother is the CEO and I am one of the trustees. Links’ mission is to connect people, confront poverty and to create potential, working with partners around the world to provide long-term sustainable solutions and lasting change.
