Lorna Doone Walk for Literacy 2010

Event date: 27th April 2010

Barry Evetts is raising money for BookRelief UK

My story

We have a lot of potential literacy-related walks in Devon but have chosen this one because it is relatively close to where our charity - BookRelief UK - operates from. In early April 2010 - on a date to be finalised closer to the time - when we can be sure that the weather will be reasonably
kind to us, BookRelief UK trustee and founder, Barry Evetts along with another stalwart BookRelief UK supporter and well-known Appledore-based poet Jeremy Bell, will undertake this 8-mile or so walk on Exmoor to raise funds for BookRelief UK - and we invite you through this page to add your pledge or donation - or even to join us if you wish!

Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto BookRelief UK.
