Running the Humber Half for Humber Rescue

I have set myself the challenge of running the Humber Half Marathon to raise money for, and awareness of, Humber Rescue.

"Humber Rescue is an independent charity responsible for the provision of a fast-response rescue boat on the rivers of the Humber Estuary. The area covered by Humber Rescue is approximately 540 square miles and includes the Rivers, Trent, Ouse, Hull and Humber."

And it's not just on the rivers of the Humber that they save lives-they were heavily involved in the rescue efforts during the floods of June 07 and December 13. They give up their time in stressful, demanding and dangerous circumstances to help others, and they are all volunteers and I am determined to raise as much awareness of the work that they do as possible, as well as raising a shedload of money to help them to keep doing it.
Please please please give what you are able to-every single penny will be used by Humber Rescue to keep saving lives. Thanks.
