Mam's Memory Run

It has been a tough few month's since the passing of my beloved Mam who spent her last few weeks at Y Bwthyn before sadly passing on 22nd June 2022.

I have decided to challenge myself and run (walk or crawl) the Cardiff half marathon on Sunday 2nd October in support of Friends of Y Bwthyn. The care that Mam received was exemplary and she developed a wonderful relationship with the amazing staff who cared for her when she most needed it. This care was extended to us as a family too and we will be forever grateful for their compassion.

You always hear about the Macmillan angels, but it is not until you need them personally, that you realise just how special they are. The whole staff at the hospice are true angels.

The Friends of Y Bwthyn is a charity raising funds to provide the ‘little extras’ for those using the centre.
