Marathon for Veterans

You may be wondering why I ran the Marathon (I certainly was) but the reason is very simple. My parents run a small charity called the Dundee Therapy Garden. This gives support to veterans with mental and physical health issues. For some, leaving the structure of the military or emergency services, can be disorientating. On top of this, some of the traumas they have experienced whilst helping us can take years to surface. This can lead to the outside world feeling like a scary place with the veterans becoming isolated. Many of us can empathise with this after a year when we have been kept from family and friends, and as we begin to return to normality I’d be grateful if you’d donate to help someone else do the same.

Many thanks for all the support (in person and virtual). It meant a huge amount to me and I was enormously touched.
