March of the Day III - 34 mile walk to MND

34 Miles. One Mission. 💙

Leanne and Lucy are taking on a 34 mile charity walk on Thursday 4th June to rugby and football stadiums between Oldham and Huddersfield to raise money and awareness for Motor Neurone Disease.
This isn’t just a physical challenge – it’s a deeply personal one. Motor Neurone Disease is a devastating condition that affects the brain and nerves, gradually taking away the ability to move, speak, eat, and breathe. It impacts not only those diagnosed, but also the families and friends who support them every single day.
By walking this distance, step by step, I want to honour those battling MND and remember those lost. Every mile represents strength, resilience, and the fight for better care, support, and ultimately a cure.
I’ll be pushing myself both physically and mentally, but I know it’s nothing compared to what people living with MND go through daily.
