My story
I’m walking in memory of my mother-in-law, Daphne, who sadly passed away from MND in 1995.
In March 2025, I took part in ‘March of the Day II’ walking from Braintree to Ipswich. The experience was truly unforgettable and left a lasting impact on me, so I didn’t hesitate to sign up again this year.
On Monday 1st June 2026, I’ll be taking on Day 1 (of a six day event) walking 34 miles from Liverpool to St Helens. I’m also hoping (though not guaranteed just yet) to return for Day 6, walking the final stretch from Leeds to the finish line (approx 10 miles).
Every step I take is for everyone affected by this cruel disease. Thank you so much for your support - it truly means everything.
