My dear friends, this is it.

Those of you who remember, I made a promise last year that if I raised at least £400 doing the half marathon for the National Association for People Abused in Childhood (NAPAC), I would do a full marathon in the following year. Guess what, you were all so generous, and we raised a total of £1300!

So, let me rewind a little and take you back to Hvar?s Half Marathon last year ? it was 28 degrees Celsius, the first approximately 15 km of the race was uphill (not something I had physically or mentally prepared for). But the effort was more than worth it, as first the stunning sea views to the north of the island are followed by equally spectacular vistas to the south. It took me 2 hours and 2 minutes to complete the race.

When I got back from having completed the half marathon in Croatia (what I would consider really was one of the most beautiful runs in the world - and a challenging one!), I was buzzing with excitement for my next challenge:

Edinburgh Marathon.

Since I am doing double distance, I have also doubled my target. Please help me raise (at least) £800 for NAPAC. If I hit my target, I will commit to doing the Tough Mudder!
