Martin Hume & Graeme Dunipace are raising money for PALS (Play and Learning Support) SCIO
Event date: 8th June 2023
My daughter Darcy has been a member of PALS for just over a year. They subsidised day trips and enabled restricted quiet periods within many busy places of leisure that has benefited not only Darcy but also the other boys and girls within the group. I feel that this has helped Darcys autism a great deal and I am sure this has helped the other kids too and would like for this to continue for many years in the future.
To help PALS, I want to give something back and I have decided to take myself far out my comfort zone and hike up Ben Nevis in June to raise awareness and funds for the charity.
As It wouldn't be a good idea to hike up the UK's highest mountain myself, my good friend Graeme was more than happy to rise to the challenge and also taking himself out his comfort zone.
Thank you for checking out our page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto PALS (Play and Learning Support) SCIO.

Thank you very much to everyone who has donated for this fantastic cause. It is greatly appreciated.
Started the gym within the last week to increase my fitness. I won't lie I was burst after the first session. However, now upto 6.5km within 1 hour and 5 minutes, walking briskly on the treadmill.
Graeme has been taken for a few long walks by his partner and dog. I am sure they will have him ready for the trek in no time.
Will provide another update in a few weeks.
Your donations will help the great work PALS (Play and Learning Support) SCIO do.
