Maryam cycles from Land's End to John O' Groats

As some of you may already know I am currently attempting to cycle from the southernmost point (Lands End) to the northernmost point (John o' Groats) of Great Britain a total of 1000 miles over 2 weeks! 🚲 The ride includes a total ascent of over 2 times the height of Everest! 🗻 I was a last minute recruit on this ride to replace my mum's friend who unfortunately got injured at the last minute. I just decided the day before that I was gonna do it! So I did absolutely no training, hadn't even been on a bike for over a month before I started! 🙉 So it is proving to be a substantial feat of endurance! Because of the last minute nature of my trip I haven't got round to it yet but I would like to take this opportunity of me doing something ridiculous to raise money to help the less fortunate. It's hard to pick a charity because sadly there are too many worthy causes out there but given the heartbreaking and ongoing tragedy in Syria affecting so many innocent lives and also because I've heard first hand from workers from this charity about the incredible work they're doing out there - Hand in Hand for Syria is who I'd like to raise money for.
