Melissa's walking on fire...

...oh, oh, oh!
 
In two weeks’ time I will be walking on hot embers to help raise funds for Feline Fine Foundation, that wonderful cat charity that I’m always going on about.
 
Feline Fine Foundation are a Bristol-based registered charity helping cats and their owners in crisis. Offering help, support and a foster service until owners are ready to have their cats back; they are there for people fleeing domestic violence, going into hospital, rehab & recovery and homelessness. For both cats and their owners alike, this amazing charity helps to keep hope alive.

They are now in their second year and have helped over 300 cats and their owners. It costs approximately £50 a month per cat in foster and currently, with the numbers they are supporting, running costs are over £1000 a month. This is a small independent charity and relies solely on donations. Together, via this fundraiser, we would like to raise £5000.
I hear one of their patrons, Steve Davis - yes, the snooker player/DJ - will be taking part too and, if we hit our target, he will do it in fancy dress!
 
Donors are encouraged to come and spectate at the event. It will be taking place on Saturday 15th February at Hedger’s Cider House, Redhill, Somerset, BS40 STU between 5-6pm.
 
I have had the privilege to be around and see this charity evolve and at this time cannot think of better way to show my support. Please help me to raise some £££ and help others through difficult times. Online and in-person donations are welcome. Every penny is appreciated and really does count.
 
It has been suggested that I wear clothes similar to those worn in the garden. Well that’s the easy bit then, oh oh oh, am I really about to do this???
