Vicky Marsland - Meridian Business Sales - Skydive for Bolton COG

After a conversation with my boss Deb about extreme sports and my growing reluctance towards theme park rides and anything scary or life threatening, she decided for my Secret Santa present she would get me a Tandem Sky Diving Experience.

When I made a passing comment "The only way someone would get me to skydive would be to push me out!" I didn't actualy expect her to be the one to give me that push. But Deb just couldn't help herself as she saw an oportunity to leave me speechless (which is very rare) and also raise money for a charity which our company has suported for the past year.

All staff at Meridian Business Sales agreed that the Bolton Children's Opportunity Group would be a charity we would continue to support in any fundraising efforts we undertook. Bolton Cog is amazing, they offer support in so many ways for children with disabilites and their families! I can not tell you how much just a little donation can do for them or what a difference it can make to the kids and parents. These guys are truly great people doing great things!

This present went beyond the limit we set for Secret Santa, however having the opportunity to raise some money for a fantastic local charity makes it all worth while, so now its up to me to not let Deb or the charity down.
