Sponsor Michael to work in Pakistan

MMChampion is raising money for AHS Foundation

My story

Dear friends

I am planning to embark on a somewhat audacious journey to Pakistan to help with the running of a Medical Centre in Noon Bagla, Kashmir.

It is an unpaid post and I have been given the fantastic opportunity to work full time managing the non-clinical aspects of the hospital on the ground and being the main liaison with the UK Charity and Pakistan authorities.

I have sold most of my personal possessions to afford this and given up work. I aim to leave on 15th October.

I will be in Pakistan for at least three months and possibly longer, provided money holds out and there is work for me to do.

The Medical Centre was built by the AHS Foundation after the 2005 Earthquake destroyed most of the infrastructure of this region; it is still a place in need of humanitarian assistance.

I ask you kindly if you would consider sponsoring me for this trip. Money raised will help subsidise flights, food and essential items for me whilst I am out there. Funds further and beyond basic day to day living will be used by the Charity to stock the hospital with much needed medical equipment and supplies.

Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto AHS Foundation.
