My story

I’m really excited to be running this years London Marathon for Links. I’m interested to see how far I can push myself in my first ever marathon but being able to raise money along the way for a local charity like Links is what makes it even more rewarding.

Links mission is to connect people, confront poverty and to create potential. They work around the world to provide long-term sustainable solutions and lasting change. They are connecting with so many people across Asia, Africa and Latin America facing injustice, insufficient healthcare, extreme poverty and the right to basic dignity.
Links believes that genuine transformation is possible and they work side by side with partners. donors, and volunteers to see lasting change.

I’m a husband, a dad of three, and a youth worker. It’s definitely a crazy season of life right now, so I thought that I might as well do a marathon on top of all that. As I said, I want to push myself, and I’m super competitive. I am aiming for a sub 4 hour marathon which means I have already started putting the hard work in to my training plan to get the best time I possibly can as a way to repay your amazing generosity.
