Tim is riding from Milan to London

My story

This September I'll be taking part in the Inspired Living 2023 'Italian Job' cycle ride, 1,600 Km distance with 22,400m of climbing which has a group starting from Rome, being joined by others (including myself) at Milan as we then go over the mountains and traverse Europe to get to London.

We are raising funds for Cancer Research UK.

My father died of bowel cancer in 1995 he was 59 years old. This was an awful shock and we as a family miss him terribly, my mother is currently going through her own battle with cancer. We have always supported cancer research having undertaken a previous ride from Winchester to Barcelona with Inspired Living.

This event is 100% self funded, so every penny raised here goes straight to the charity.

Like many people, we all know family and friends that have died or are undergoing treatment for cancer, the money raised for cancer research will go towards finding and developing new treatments and cures for this terrible illness.

Inspired Living is a UK Charity Committee raising funds and awareness for cancer charities, with the following aims:

1. To inspire ordinary men & women to adopt healthier lifestyles to reduce their risk of contracting cancer.

2. To raise up to £500,000 for cancer charities.

Over the past decade Inspired Living has organised a number of cycling activities, both short distance mass rides and long duration rides around various parts of Europe. In the process we have raised over £370,000 for Cancer charities
