The golf day was a great success and we raised over £900 towards the trip, thanks to everyone that supported it. Well done to "Roys Rovers" for winning the team event, just pipping my team and "The Pink Lady's" into second and third places. If you got luck in the raffle or won one of the on course prizes, well done!

My story
In November I'll be volunteering with Cricket Without Boundaries, and going to Nepal to coach cricket and to train local coaches. CWB does excellent humanitarian work in the countries that it visits each year, and uses the sport to engage and enrich the lives of people in underserved communities cricketwithoutboundaries.com
Every £1 donated will be gratefully received and will go towards covering my flight costs, accommodation and transport costs whilst in Nepal. Any surplus funds over my target will be used by the charity to pay for much needed kit and equipment to top up the donated items that I will be taking with me. It's a great cause and I hope you can spare a little to support it. Thanks.

My updates
My fundraising golf day will take place on 26/6 at Bentley Golf Club in Brentwood. It's a great course and we'll starting with breakfast followed by 18 holes, then lunch and a prize giving.
