Rwanda - returning to the Land of a Thousand Hills (which makes playing cricket interesting!!) where it all started for me with CWB back in 2018 and I am now on my 5th trip.

Coaching 5000+ children, using untold amounts of tennis balls!, running school festivals, training new coaches, empowering communities, linking cricket to messages and actions on health and social issues, seeing amazing sights and meeting wonderful and inspiring people. What a great way to spend 2 weeks this coming autumn and best of all nephew James is coming with me for his first ever CWB trip, which makes it even more exciting!

This is my first time volunteering with Cricket Without Boundaries and I am very excited to have this opportunity. I look forward to being able to help the communities within Rwanda and hope to make some memories to last a lifetime. As well as that I get to spend two weeks with my Uncle Nick who will be a very good support to me and be able to give me knowledge of the country and culture.

We will be taking cricket playing kit and equipment with us and it will all be left in Rwanda for the schools and communities to use once we have returned home.
Anything you can give will be hugely appreciated and it will make a difference to a child/young persons life.
