NY Cares OX Cures

Judy who lives in North Yorkshire working for the Personalised Learning College (PLC) and Annie have a relative who is part of Oxford University’s Oxford Vaccine Group. The PLC decided they wished to show their gratitude and appreciation for the work you are doing to produce a Covid 19 vaccine and to do this they set up North Yorkshire`s NY Cares OX Cures. Knowing that all those on the Vaccine team are working extremely long hours they thought that receiving goodies would help in some small way to make life a little easier.
Monies raised in North Yorkshire so far have mainly come from providing cream teas on VE Day. The first care package was delivered to the vaccine team on the 23rd May and was sourced in and around Oxford from sustainable companies. These include Orchard View Farm, Steve and Heather Ash for Warborough honey, the Abingdon and Headington branches of Waitrose and Neal's Yard have generously donated too.
This was just the beginning - fundraising continues and NY Cares OX Cures hope to make further deliveries.
