Ollie’s Marathon Pledge

Following my Mother’s second diagnosis of cancer, the first being breast cancer and the most recent being ‘Hodgkins Lymphoma’. She has received promising treatment from the Withybush Cancer Day Unit along with financial and emotional support from the generous Cardigan Cancer Care Charity. As her son, I bear the pledge and determination to further improve the likelihood of exterminating cancer permanently and expressing great gratitude for these wonderful charities who continuously save lives. My challenge is to accomplish a full Marathon alongside my running fellow partners’ Guto and Marc, of whom their brother/cousin, too has been affected by the ‘Hodgkins Lymphoma’ cancer. And by doing so, I pledge to raise at leat £1000 for the benefit of groundbreaking research which would hopefully terminate cancer once and for all.
