Our little troopers

I’m running half a marathon at the end of March for a charity close to my family, we are a military family and so proud of my husband I want to raise as much money as I can for this amazing charity;
Little Troopers is a registered charity supporting all children with one or both parents serving in our British Armed Forces . These children face unique daily challenges due to their parents career choice especially when they experience repeated separation of varying lengths of time.
Our children have daily challenges & suffer with some worries & tearful days when their Daddy is away, watching them get upset and refusing to go into school, feeling like no one understands them and it’s something I feel incredibly guilty about. As their mother it is my job to heal them, help them and comfort them, ultimately they want us back as a family.
You get the strength from somewhere to be strong everyday even when your feeling down, upset & missing them yourself but watching them is wanting me to try make a difference, this is a positive challenge for us to focus on together.
This charity is helping our children to understand that there not alone & it’s ok.
