Stephen Perse Gambia Project

Hi Everyone!
On Sunday 6th November I will be cycling from London to Cambridge in aid of the Gambia project. The Gambia is a very poor developing country in west Africa, surrounded by the Senegal. The ride will be about 60 miles long and I will complete it in one day. The money I collect via sponsorship will go directly to the Gambia project. I will be visiting there in December with my school (The Stephen Perse Foundation) and we will be participating in many activities there, especially looking at projects which have been set up by our school in the past. Our school has been involved in the Gambia for several years now and past projects include building a well, supporting a health clinic, painting classrooms, funding staff salaries at a nursery, supporting a Women's skills centre and many others. One of the most recent projects is the construction of a chicken farm which provides eggs and also employment for the local community.
As you can see all of these projects are extremely beneficial and worthwhile and so I am really keen to raise as much money as I can by doing this sponsored cycle. I'd really appreciate any donation you feel you can give, no matter how big or small.
