Abi Hunt is raising money for Paws2Rescue
My story
We are joining in the ‘walk a kilometre’ campaign to help raise money for Paws 2 Rescue. We have to walk 20km during April and May to help raise money to build a new shelter. As everyone knows Piper and Indy came to us from Paws 2 Rescue and have changed our lives. I had a major operation in September and am having to work hard to build my walking stamina and fitness again, so this challenge has come at a perfect time. Please support us and help raise money for a much needed shelter in Romania.

We’ve been under house arrest because Piper is having her first season and she and Indy don’t like to be separated. We managed to get Indy out for a short 1.27km walk today whilst my mum looked after Piper. Apparently she whined and howled the whole time we were gone (Piper not my Mum 😆). So we’ve walked 27.67km of our 20km commitment now.

We are still doing walks for P2R through May and have done a 2km Paws walk. So we are now up to 27.4km!

We’ve done some little paws walks and added another 2.9km to our walking total. So we are at 25.4km now.

Another 1.5 km done so we are now 22.5km into our 20 km walk and still 5 weeks to go 😂

Well we’ve done it 18days into the challenge! We have now walked 21 km. but we are going to keep going and will try to hit our fundraising target too!
