My story
For some time now I have had the drive and challenge myself and do something in a good cause. In the past, I have suffered with my mental health particularly in my younger years. Also three males that I knew that I knew personally, or worked with lost their lives. They were all of different ages and came from different backgrounds. Because suicide is the biggest killer with men under fifty, I wanted to take the opportunity, this year, to raise funds for a great cause, in the form of “Andy Man’s Club”. This club is a great organisation, which encourages men to talk and encourages men to talk in a safe location.
So in April I will be walking part of the “Portuguese Camino” from Porto to Santiago de Compostela. Roughly 160 to 200 miles, depending on the route I take.
I would appreciate any donations, no matter how small and thank you all in advance.
