This page is raising money for Parents Supporting Parents
My story
Poynton PANDAS (parents supporting parents) is a local voluntary group run by mums for parents and carers who need support with their mental health. We are now entering our sixth year and have supported in the region of 250 local families with pre and postnatal anxiety/depression.
We run free weekly term-time morning drop in groups, free monthly evening drop-in groups and free monthly term-time Chill Out nights. It costs us around £2000 a year to run and we spend our money on renting the room at the church, training our peer supporters, paying for crafts at our evening group and paying for therapists at our Chill Out Night.
We know it's a difficult time of year but we welcome anything you can give. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all of us at Poynton PANDAS Rhiannon, Mel, Cindy, Charlotte, Helen, Tasha, Ruth and Marie xx
