Fundraising for textbooks

I am running the Chester half marathon to raise funds to buy text books for libraries in Nekemte, Ethiopia. Every £3 donated will buy one text book.
The school curriculum has changed and as a result the teachers do not have the appropriate text books to support the children with their learning. The pass rate for the important year 8 exam has plummeted as a result of this issue. Without a pass, the children cannot proceed to high school and this dramatically increases the risk of the child droppping out of education.
We know that 78% of teachers use their school libraries every day to support
their children and build their own subject knowledge. Reference books cost £3 each on
average. Every £3 you can donate (the price of a cup of coffee!) will buy a text book which will be used time and time again to further education. 
13.1 miles is a very long way particularly for a 60 year old! I was told in 2022 that I should stop running, but I am back and this is a big challenge for me. Every donation will help to keep me going.  Thank you!
