Our story
The staff at Marus Bridge Practice are raising awareness of and funds for MND. After seeing Kevin Sinfield and Rob Burrow at the recent Leeds Marathon we felt that we wanted to help the Leeds Hospital Rob Burrow MND Centre Appeal. On behalf of one of our patients who has lost her two sons to MND and volunteers to support local people with MND, we also wanted to support our local MND branch too. The doctors, nurses and other staff will have a static bicycle in reception for a week and will be taking turns to ride it. They will also ask other GP Practice's staff in the building to take part as well as patients. The aim is to complete 100 miles a day for one week. We will be providing refreshments and collecting donations both on-line and in our Practice reception. So, please give what you can to these two worthy causes.
