Back to Uganda

I'm so excited to have the chance next spring to go back to the place where it all began for me with CWB, and revisit Uganda.
CWB delivers support right where it is needed. I've seen first hand what can be achieved by using sport for good, how a team of enthusiastic strangers can work together to deliver messages which can change the lives of young people. It might be learning how to avoid disease, helping their communities become more inclusive, or discovering within themselves the self confidence and belief to realise that they can dare to dream, and work to make that dream happen.
CWB sessions are first and foremost a lot of fun. But the more serious results are there too. From African school children now receiving life saving treatment for HIV, having been diagnosed at a CWB festival, to the Kenyan girls who discovered cricket with CWB and now play for their country, and the communities in Nepal now embracing their girls playing cricket alongside the boys.
There is so much more for us to do, but it is only possible with your help. Volunteers pay their own way, but the projects themselves have to be funded, as does the year round help we provide by supporting local coach Ambassadors.
So many worthy charities are competing for your donation at the moment, and we appreciate how tough it is - whatever you can spare will help us continue to change lives.
