Sarah Wynn is raising money for RAISING HOPE FOUNDATION
My story
The Raising Hope Foundation is a UK registered charity no 1129045. We've just celebrated our first birthday after a very successful first year, and are hoping to expand on that work in this second year.
Our object is to work with charities located in the Volta region of Ghana, Africa, in providing food, shelter, education and welfare for orphaned and needy children.
We are currently working alongside the Living Faith Foundation, a Ghanaian charity, to build a new orphanage home for over 60 children in Santrokofi. We are also supporting LFF with the development of their existing school, situated in Sogakope.
We are currently fundraising for phase two of the building work of our Orphanage home, which should commence in Summer 2010.
The Summer trip to Ghana with our volenteers will begin 5th August.
