Ride The North Fundraising Cycle for Busy Bees Playgroup Turriff

Event date: 21st September 2012

Kerri is raising money for Busy Bees Playgroup Turriff

My story

Chris Dall (Dad of Ruari Dall in Busy Bees 3's group), will be cycling from Inverness to Aberdeen (164 miles) over 2 days to raise funds for Busy Bees playgroup. The cycle will take place on 21st - 22nd September 2012. Please support this great challenge and help raise funds for the playgroup.

Stage 1: Inverness-Elgin
Route: Inverness-Elgin
Distance: 82 miles

Beginning in the Highland capital of Inverness, the route heads out of the city to Loch Ness, passing over Drumossie Muir to pass Cawdor Castle on the way to the historic Dallas Dhu distillery at Forres. After Forres the route heads towards Pluscarden Abbey before finishing in the Royal Burgh of Elgin in the historic county of Moray.

Stage 2: Elgin-Aberdeen
Route: Elgin - Aberdeen

Distance: 82 miles.

The route passes through the heart of Speyside and Scotland?s Malt Whisky Country. The route will include Dufftown, the Cabrach and Donside, with a considerable amount of climbing along the way. The finish in the city of Aberdeen will conclude with an epic cycle between the two great cities of North Scotland.

P.S. When you make a donation, don't forget to check the Gift Aid box if you're a UK taxpayer as then your charity can claim an extra 25% from the government!
