Rising Sun Parkrun 10-Loop 50km Challenge

In aid of Pathways 4 All and the Tim Lamb Centre, on Saturday 27th December, I'm going to attempt to run the Rising Sun Parkrun course 10 times in a row, starting at around 4:30am. I will be aiming to complete the 10th and final lap during the usual Parkrun event at 9am. The total distance overall will be 50km / 31.1miles. It would be great if anyone would like to join me on that last lap!

The Centre itself is based in the park, just behind where the Parkrun starts from. For families struggling to access provisions in the local community without judgement and ridicule, the Centre provides this for them. A safe haven allowing disabled children to be themselves, welcomed and accepted as individuals.  They have become a lifeline to many families as they are open 7 days a week offering a huge number of play facilities both indoors and outdoors, and are the only Centre in the North East offering this accessible facility.

The charity does not receive any statutory funding or financial support from the local authority, so your valued support is very important to them and to the families that use their services. Any donations would be massively appreciated!
