My story
It's not always obvious how significant a parent's absence can be be to a child. Perhaps only recently have I had time to reflect on the scale of this impact on our Service children, who quietly deal with the unique challenges of having one or both parents away from home for both lengthy and often unpredictable periods. Their contribution and sacrifice is so deserving of recognition - this walk is the least I can do to support all of our Little Troopers.
