Run 250km before December 31st 2024

Every year about this time I try to raise a little money for charity by jogging 50 k in a month or something similar, usually for Cancer charities in memory of my brother Tony. This time I’m doing something different for a different charity, I’m going to try and jog 250 km before the end of the year for Andy’s Mans Club. Which is a fantastic cause. When my brother died in 2016 it knocked me sideways, my mother died 9 months later and my Dad fell apart. I had to cope with all this on my own and would have loved to known of something like this. Shortly after my mother died  and 12 months after my brother died I was having a really bad day and when I got home and told my then partner she said: How f***ing long are you going to go on about this for ? I’m sick of it” so that was all the compassion I got from her. Now there’s clubs like Andy’s to help anyone in need, far too long men have struggled to cope.
