Diane Brasnett is raising money for Crohn's & Colitis UK

My story

To quote the famous blogger sobadass.me "Ulcerative Colitis, you think you know me because you lived inside me for so long, but you are mistaken if you think me weak. I am powerful. I am strong. I am your worst f&^*ing nightmare."

I am powerful. I am strong and I am going to run 3 marathons in three days - Padstow to Landsend .

Why? There are 5 million people in the world living with Colitis or Crohns, with no known cure. NACC is a great charity that supports sufferers and tries to find better treatment for the future. If everyone reading this could donate just £1 it would make a MASSIVE difference.

My journey with Colitis started in 1999. After a long illness I was finally diagnosed at Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham. I was seriously ill for a while, narrowly escaping an iliostamy. In 2010 I was diagnosed with Inflammatory Arthritis, a complication on Colitis. I have been lucky with the illness; I have spent a lot of my time in remission. There are hundreds of thousands of others who suffer way more than me, I am doing this for them.

Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Crohn's & Colitis UK.
