My story
🥇 Month 1… one mission: I’ve decided to run 🏃♀️ 100 miles in May.
To some, 100 miles might not sound like a lot — and for walking, it wouldn’t be for me. But running? That’s a different story. Averaging a 5K a day is going to be a real challenge 🤯 Especially as I’m already one day behind after jumping into this late on Friday night 🤣
I’ve taken on this challenge for a very personal reason. When I was diagnosed with skin cancer and went through surgery, including having lymph nodes removed, my ability to exercise was limited. Now I’m back — stronger, fitter, and ready to fight back. Having the freedom to move again is something I truly missed and will never take for granted.
I also want to raise awareness of melanoma. Many people think it’s “just” skin cancer, but it’s still cancer — and hearing those words is terrifying. Your mind immediately goes to the worst-case scenario.
So here I am, asking for your support to help me get through May and reach 100 miles 💝 If you’d like to donate, please use the link — your generosity really does mean so much 🥰
Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Skcin and Melanoma Focus.
