Catriona Young is raising money for Rwandan School Village Project
My sister Ellie and I will be running the Berlin marathon this September in support of Rwandan School Village Project (RSVP). RSVP is a charity based in Bugarama, Rwanda with an aim to change the lives of the people who live there through education. This includes sponsoring children through secondary school and further education, as well as improving the quality of the education at the 7 primary schools based in Bugarama.
Right now there is a project to provide adequate desks for primary school children to study on. Until now, 4 or 5 are squeezed on to poor quality desks intended for only 2 pupils. These conditions are too cramped to learn and it means the desks don't last very long. RSVP has worked with other partners to both build more classrooms and invest in good quality desks and their maintenance.
Please donate to our running journey and help this desk and classroom building project!
Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Rwandan School Village Project.
