We're runing 10K to raise money for Theatre Royal Stratford East

Theatre Royal Stratford East is a truly beautiful Victorian theatre with an amazing history. It was Joan Littlewood?s ?home? where she put on plays that resonated with ordinary local people and we continue this tradition today. For many of the 100,000 people who visited the theatre last year, it was their first time inside any theatre and our Youth Arts outreach team play a very real and necessary part in young people?s lives in and around our east London community.

They continue to have great success at the Olivier Awards but that doesn?t pay for shows.

As you will have heard, these are testing times for the arts with much of our funding either reduced or cut completely, so 2 employees of the Theatre have decided to keep fit and run to raise money to help keep its important work going.
