ROOT AND BRANCH - WALBROOK TO WALTHAMSTOW

Sponsor (or join) us on a walk (a Samarathon, perhaps?) from St Stephen Walbrook (Chad Varah's church, where the Samaritans were founded) to the Waltham Forest Branch, 663 Lea Bridge Road - about 8 miles.

The Samaritans vision is that fewer people die by suicide. The charity keeps administrative expenditure to a minimum so as much funding as possible goes where it is needed. Local branches need to find a large part of their income for themselves - hence this walk, among other things.
