Sarah's skydive for charity

Event date: 15th June 2022

My story

I've always wanted to do something for charity and also wanted to do a skydive (I must be mad) so what better way of doing both together! I always want to help where possible if I'm doing something that's probably once in a lifetime or on my bucket list. My chosen charity is the Chest, Heart and Stroke Foundation. As some of you might know, I was in hospital with heart, stomach and chest pains last year. It turned out that I had a nasty infection on the lining of my stomach which had spread itself to my heart and lungs and my breathing was at a low. I got given medication which did the trick after a month. I'm feeling alot better than what I did at that particular time. However I've been told it might be a recurring problem so will just have to play the waiting game. The staff were amazing, I can't fault the NHS at all with all they do and the stress they must be under. Also another reason why I'm doing this is, a friend of mine, her dad has suffered alot of strokes, he's such a true gent and her hero and I'm so happy to say that I've met him. So I want to help any way I can by raising the money to help this foundation help patients. Thank you to everyone for all your support! There really are so many charities I'd like to help so who knows if I enjoy the thrill of the skydive I may do another!
Lets do this, fingers crossed I can raise the amount! Your awesome guys! 🙂💖 🛩️
