Sophia's Kessock Ferry Swim

Thanks to everyone for their donations. As I had covid when the Kessock swim happend I was not able to do my bit and felt pretty gutted about it. Today and with the help from some amazing friends, I swam 2.74km (return) to a wee island on Loch Maree, one of the most beautiful places i have seen. Thats more than twice as much as the Kessock Ferry swim. Thanks for all your support and donations. Aban is such a great charity.

I was hoping I would not have to send this update. Sadly, I've been quite unwell with covid over the last few days with pretty bad headaches. I was hoping that it will pass if I give my body some rest, but I'm still feeling under the weather which means that I sadly won't be able to take part at the Kessock Ferry Swim. Once I'm fully recovered I will find a way to do a swim of similar length.

Wow, you guys are amazing. I wouldnt have thought that I would raise £205 in such a short amount of time.

Today I went for a swim at Loch Leven and managed 1450m which is about 200m more that what's needed to swim to North Kessock and back. Sea water swimming is a little different, so I will be trying to get a few sea swims in too.
