South Stoke School Sponsored Walk

The children of South Stoke Primary School will be walking during the month of December to raise money for their school. The children aged between 5 to 11 years old have pledged to collectively walk 420 kilometers' during the month of December. This sponsored walk is a positive move not only to raise funds for their school but encourages our school children to get outside, keep active, work together and improve their mental health, vitally important during this pandemic. They will be given Santa hats to wear on their walks to get in the festive spirit.

Due to the pandemic South Stoke School has lost vital funds usually raised from its two fundraising events. Bonfire Night and May Fayre. The money raised from this walk will go toward funding sports coaches and vital school equipment . We have lost 10,000 this year due to not being able to hold our fundraising events.
