ABP Southampton - Yellow Door

I’m running the ABP Southampton Marathon to support Yellow Door, a long-standing charity that has been supporting people affected by domestic abuse and sexual violence for over 40 years

Advocating for human rights and equality is at the heart of why I chose to study Law. Through my studies, I’ve become increasingly aware of how domestic abuse and sexual violence continue to affect so many (particularly women and girls) often in ways that remain unseen or unheard. Supporting organisations that stand beside survivors is something I care deeply about. What began as a Rape Crisis service has grown into vital prevention and specialist support for people of all ages, with a truly meaningful impact both locally and beyond.

Taking on this marathon is a personal challenge, but also my way of contributing to meaningful change. Every step I run supports safer communities and stronger support for those affected by abuse.
