Paul Williamson is raising money for Guildford Cathedral
As the Dean's Virger of Guildford Cathedral, I am MAKING MY MARK by walking the 100 miles of the South Down?s Way, plus a few extra miles to bus stops and railway stations, on my days off.
Due to other calls on my time, I am doing this over a six month period from 30th April to 30th October, if I go beyond 30th October I will pay a weekly penalty charge of £10 (as a good farmer's son you know how much that will pain me!).
Well, I finally completed the walk on the 9th October, best way of avoiding paying my penalty, I told you about that farming blood.
To mark the final mile into Winchester I got drenched, but it was worth the soaking and was a fantastic experience.
To celebrate I have subsequently got engaged, so why not celebrate with Cath and Me by helping to save the likely wedding venue and helping others to do the same over the coming years.
Please sponsor me by clicking on 'Give Now' on this page to help the Cathedral raise a few pounds and help me to shed a few pounds (hopefully)!
Thank you!
